Description
Ah, Catalina, the one that started it all. This is the original little beach cottage that Steve and Becky first purchased so long ago. Although it is an older home it is still a classic design for a wonderful beach vacation. This home receives its namesake from the famous World War II flying boat the PBY Catalina. So come and enjoy a large covered beach side porch, relax with your favorite tropical drink and think back to the days when the majestic Catalinas of the Naval Air Station Pensacola would be filling the air just off the beach. NAS Pensacola, as it is often referred to, is just a few minutes drive to the east of our Catalina and is home to the largest museum of Naval Aviation in America as well as the famed Blue Angels. This beach that was once the training grounds for all of Naval Avaiation is now the training ground for the best in Naval Aviation, who knows, you may be lucky enough to catch the blue angles practicing their maneuvers just a few hundred yards from your chair.

This wonderful little house is a treasure to beach life. The two bedrooms each have the own bathroom, the east bedroom is set up for the children and the West for Mom and Dad. In between you will find the spacious living room on the beach side and the kitchen dinning room behind this. With a front and back deck you can choose the shaded seclusion of the covered front porch or the sunny back porch perfect for laying out, if you can pull yourself away from the san. And if you can pull yourself away we suggest you enjoy the local history and the wonderful shopping.

This house is set up to sleep 6 with a sleeper sofa, but larger parties are also welcome as this houses is right next door to Bellingrath and the Fountain of Youth and only two doors down from Point Clear A and B. So come and enjoy the beach with all of the modern conveniences you are used to and all of the romance that you long for.
