The owner purchased this property upon seeing it when after the ‘walk-through’, the space utilization appealed to her. The space was well appropriated for function and form. Having a door to close off the stairway to the lower level  creating a secured lower level, or two stories, offered privacy and a second living area within which a second game table could be placed. Hot tub placement  was no challenge since the deck is wrapped nearly clear around Water Buoy, huge in size, and provided even enough space for a ramp for those who are not fully mobile, or just prefer the easier stride. Originally, the lure to Water Buoy was the fantastic location of that being within a half mile of the boat ramp, marina, golf course, grocery, and conveniences, making the location prime and suitable for all ages. Price was also a factor; she could offer a great home, off water, but ever so near, and do it economically. This home is for those who appreciate the finer things, and would prefer keeping the cost reduced in order to enjoy more  activities such as boating, skiing, fishing, NASCAR, shopping, and sunning that Lake Norman has to offer. The exterior of Water Buoy is plainly wrapped, not glamorously gobbed up,  but hints at its soft contemporary style combining the lattice with front door anchor and clean, sleek facade. Although plane, just step inside and your surroundings come alive! Eleven feet of kitchen island greet you, along with the 42” wall mount flat screen television.

There is no challenge parking for the side drive bears parking for two, the circular drive 2-3, the lower carport 2 more, and extended drive 4 additional! That is a total of 10 spaces for parking which is certainly more than sufficient for a 3 bedroom home and a copious amount of parking for cars, RV’s, trailers, boats, and jet skis; the Lake Norman elements of water toys for fun! 

 Open kitchen concept encourages conversation amongst family and friends while the game tables satisfy those requiring action related relaxation. Walk through either set of the double French doors onto the over sized deck and you can choose from grilling, hot tub, fire pit, or dining at the table. Not a square inch of Water Buoy was left untouched, be it tile on the floor, paint on the walls, new appliances, new kitchen cabinets, doors and spa to boot.  It's a humbling little place, and ever so fun!  The tile floors allow no dirt a hiding spot, and that was the intent of the owner.

The bonus to this house, in addition to the huge deck, is the gradual ramp that makes it handicap accessible from both levels. She is well acquainted with the ease a ramp offers as her husband has had those "aching knees" since he was in his 20's…which was just one more reason for the hot tub.

Lastly, being an animal lover who sets stringent rules, she encased a safety zone portion of the side yard with fencing in order to make the dog-run safe and easily accessible for those who travel with "Man's Best Friend"!  If this is a house you choose, be sure to comply with our rule of "No animals on human furniture or beds" in order to keep this funky home in prime condition.
