The PLEASURE POINT LIGHTHOUSE Sleeps up to 5 in a one-of-a-kind Lighthouse on the bluff above a large sandy beach. Ocean and Beach waves views from every window and a delightful sleeping loft with a Queen bed in a Lighthouse Tower Loft! See how the surfers are doing at The Hook by just raising your head! This loft also has a Built-in Stereo System with remote and good reading lamp. The adventures guests that take this room with a laddar going up to the loft. The Main Room features a Gas fireplace, TV with DVD and VHS, seating area with two woven chairs with deep cushions, a Double Futon that makes into a bed at night and a short Twin couch for the 5th guest which should be less than 5’ tall. There is a fully equipped Kitchen with a Stove, Refrigerator, Microwave (no dishwasher). There is one table with two captain’s chairs and a nautical chart of the nearby part of the Monterey Bay. There is also a tall oak table with 4-stools for more friends. There is a full bathtub & shower with a delightful stained glass window of an otter taking bath too! The surprisingly large patio features a wooden bar from the Original Margaretville’s outside deck with a storage area behind it. There are over 10 chairs in this area and a nice Fire Pit for evening get-togethers; all overlooking the ocean! The foundation of the Lighthouse was strengthened recently and cost was 3 times what the house cost! Very sturdy, and you will sleep to the sounds of the whispering waves. There is space for 4 cars to park off the street in front of this home. Capitola is a 1 mile bicycle ride away. Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is a 7 minute drive. Bring your bicycles & helmets and bicycle all along East Cliff Drive! Bring your pails and walk down the stairs to the privatelike 38th Avenue cove beach. The nautical decor of this home makes you feel that you are the Captains Special Guests! |
