FLAMINGO DEL MAR: Sleeps up to 4. 2-bedrooms, 1-bath. This unique landmark home comfortably sleeps up to 4-adult guests. Gaze out the Living Room, Dining area or Kitchen window as well as both bedrooms for an unsurpassed view of several of the Pleasure Point famous surfing areas, and all the way to Monterey. It's located on the corner of East Cliff & 33rd Avenue it is a perfect ocean-side home. Enjoy the Santa Cruz decor with many authentic old Santa Cruz nick-knacks. Don't miss this view with nothing between you & the water except a one-way road. The master bedroom also has a fabulous view of the Monterey Bay & the stars at night with a Queen bed and a flat screen TV. The 2nd bedroom has some fun original paintings & a Queen bed and ocean view; too! and a computer desk; bring computer and DSl. There is a 27" flat screen in the Living Room. The entertainment center also has karaoke capability if guests bring their own microphone & CDs with graphics. This home is very special & has been loved by the owner's family & friends exclusively until now! Several lawn chairs & beach chairs are stored in the garage with 4 boogies boards. New linens and bath towels provided. Enjoy cooking from the ocean view; fully equipped kitchen. There is also a new wet bar; with small refrigerator at the home and small flat screen TV. The fully equipped kitchen has a 2 person oak table overlooking the ocean and also the dining table; in the back of the LivingRoom has a 6 person ocean view table. Large microfiber sectional couch in the LivingRoom overlooks the ocean and has a large 27" flat screen TV and there's a swivel chair and wet bar with small refrigerator and small flat scrren TV. No pets allowed since there is not a fence between the home and the street. There is a large grassy front yard & private enclosed back patio with a Hot Tub & outdoor dining area (seats 4) with a Gas BBQ. Walk alongside the ocean to the top of the 35th Avenue stairs and down onto the beach. Or go 2 more blocks to 38th Avenue beach. Or go to the right of the home 6 blocks to Moran Beach with a parking lot and bathrooms alongside the very large and pet friendly 26th Avenue beach. Capitola is a 3-minute drive away or a short & mostly level walk or bike ride on the bike path. There are benches to sit all along East Cliff to watch early morning surfers, and the ocean views. This is a wonderful home to bring bicycles & bike along East Cliff Drive. (Bikes can be stored in private garage) & then go on down to Capitola Village for outdoor beach-front dining, music, & shopping; or for an ice cream on a hot day! Monterey is 40 minutes away & downtown Santa Cruz Boardwalk/Wharf is 7 minutes away by car. Point Market/Cafe is 3 houses away from this home for morning coffee, burritos, hollandaise breakfast with outddor seating and this is also a small market. |
