Fishing is among the best in the world -- catch a Blue Marlin, Tuna and Swordfish all in one day by utilizing one of numerous local ocean fishing charters -- or enjoy a combination surfing and fishing expedition to the many beautiful coastal beaches inaccessible by vehicle. The snorkeling is terrific. Also close to Lake Nicaragua (the 10th largest lake in the world) and 20 minutes from Costa Rica.
