Completed in July of 2005 Keuka Cottage is a timber frame built house with external brick walls and has solid hardwood floors in all living areas with a generous floor area of some 1464 sq ft.

Keuka Cottage offers guests deluxe living accommodation with views over looking Seneca Lake and scenic rural views all around the property. Perhaps unique for vacation rental accommodation in the region, downstairs in Keuka Cottage is fully accessible for wheelchair users with wider doors between rooms and has a bathroom with shower, toilet and basin equipped with grab rails for handicapped/disabled guests to use. The cottage provides exceptional quality child and pet friendly self catering lodging in the heart of the Finger Lakes. With the added space and facilities it provides an excellent alternative to renting a cabin or chalet.

Keuka Cottage is truly a home away from home, the combination of king, queen, twin and sofa beds, provides flexible enough accommodation for any kind of family or group. Both pet and child friendly, it is an ideal place for a family to spend a vacation in the Finger Lakes. For those who love walking there are woodland trails on our property and 15 minutes away Geneva there is the Seneca Lake walking trail.

Just 4-½ hours North West from New York City and 1-½ hours South East from Buffalo on the US-Canadian border by road, you will discover the idyllic Finger Lakes Region which has also been voted the most beautiful wine region in the world.

In a setting of 9000 square miles, there are 11 Lakes and over 1000 waterfalls and numerous gorges, which were formed at the end of the ice age when tremendous grinding pressures gouged enormous holes in the land forming what is now the Finger Lakes Region of “Upstate New York”. These amazing Lakes range from 3 miles (5km) to 40 miles (64km) in length and from 30 feet (10m) to over 632 feet (194m) in depth! Native American Legend says that the Fingers Lakes were the impression left behind by the creator when he reached down to bless the land. Whatever the truth, the Finger Lakes are a wonderful place to escape to, to “just get away” and where you can relax and do either very little or do a lot. To explore the many exciting places dotted around the region and to have that perfect vacation.

Cobtree is proud to have achieved a 3 Diamond AAA rating offering air conditioned, children, disabled, dog friendly and pet friendly, English architectural style vacation rental cottages, as well as traditionally built Rustic log cabin rentals. Our larger “Deluxe Log Homes” offer finished walk out basement rooms with French doors leading out onto the lawn. These are especially suited for small meetings, seminars, conferences and reception parties for up to 30 people. Each home is provided with free high speed Wi-Fi, cable TV, Free USA and Canada wide telephone calls and has a fully equipped kitchen. Cobtree is surrounded by 57 acres of farmland and woodlands overlooking the Western Shores of Seneca Lake. Located at the North end of Seneca Lake and just 5 miles South of the City of Geneva with Watkins Glen International Race track located just 25 miles South of Cobtree, we welcome couples, families, groups of friends, wedding parties and wine tour groups. If combined our rental homes are ideal for larger reunions, religious retreats, wedding receptions, Musselman Triathlon, sporting groups and visitors to the nearby Hobart and William Smith Colleges. Together they can accommodate up to 52 people sharing.
